Lack of appetite and lethargy can be due to a lot of different causes, but 9 times out of 10 they are caused by a problem with the Dragon's lighting, temperature zones, or both. Can you possibly post some photos of both your dragon, and then of his entire tank showing how you have his lights set-up? Then answer a couple of questions for us? This will quickly either confirm the problem or rule-out a husbandry issue. Dragons, being desert reptiles, are so sensitive to their lighting and temps that even permanent damage and physical disabilities can result, so it's best to check it out now...You can just copy and past my questions under your photos, and then fill in your answers beside them, that's the easiest way...
-How old is your Dragon? Is it a male or a female?
-How large is his tank? What substrate do you have in the bottom of the tank?
-EXACTLY what
UVB light do you have? (Brand, Wattage, and Type, meaning is it a long tube, a regular Compact Bulb, or a Coil/Spiral Bulb)...If it's a long UVB tube, what Strength is it (either T8 or T5)?
-How old is the
UVB light? Is it sitting on or obstructed by a mesh lid to the tank? How far away, in inches, is the
UVB light from your Dragon's basking spot/platform?
-What color of light does your Basking Bulb emit? What wattage is your Basking Bulb? Is it a regular Compact Basking Bulb, or is it a Coil/Spiral Bulb?
-What type of Thermometer do you use to measure his temperature zones (Stick-On, Digital Probe on a Wire, or Temperature Gun)?
-What is the current #1) Cool Side Ambient/Air Temperature, #2) Hot Side Ambient/Air Temperature, and #3) Basking Spot/Platform Surface Temperature?
-Do you have both your
UVB light AND your Basking Light over the Hot Side of the tank, right alongside each other? Is his Basking Spot/Platform directly underneath both of the lights?
-What is his regular, daily diet?
-How many days a week does he get Calcium powder? Multivitamin powder?
