Not eating

1 year old bearded dragon. He's not wanting to eat everyday and when he does he don't eat much. He eats greens and superworms and he just don't wanna eat. Why?? Please help

There a various reasons for a dragon to stop eating. It will be easier for people to answer if you go over your setup. Include your tank size, temperatures, how you measure temperature, heating and lighting devices, substrate, and supplement schedule.

A one year old dragon will probably eat insects every other day as their diet naturally transitions to being more veggie based and less insect based.

What are the surface temps at his basking spot? What are his temps on his cool side? What are you using to read these temps? What style of UVB light are you using? What brand? How old is it? How close to the UVB source can your dragon get?

Superworms are ok to feed every once in a while but they are high in phosphorous so should NOT be fed as a staple. Good alternatives would be crickets, dubia, BSFL or silkworms. Also, once they reach a year of age you should switch them to a 80 percent greens/veggies, 20 percent live feeders diet. What this equates to is offering greens daily, and feeding live feeders once or twice a week. What a lot of people do once they reach an older age is feed live every third day. It is a little more protein then needed , but it works and is an easy schedule to follow.

UVA at adequate levels (higher than 30%) along with being warmer than 28oC and long enough day cycles (about 15 - 16 hrs of UVA, UVB, heat and bright white light) will enhance a beardie's appetite.

How old is you UV lighting, and what is it's rating in terms of % UVA and % UVB ?
