Not Eating very much

Hi guys,thanks for reading my concern.

I am new to the Dragon world. After reading about how to care for a beardie I thought I would buy one. I got one that is 2 1/2 years old. I brought her home 3 days ago and she has not eaten anything yet. I did see some poop in her cage though. She is not that active in her cage but when out she does wonder around the house. I gave her a bath and she drank some water today but still will not eat. I have tried Superworms because that is what the old owner was feeding her. Should I try crickets? I also have chopped Kale and dandelion leafs as well but she seems to not be interested in them.

I am hoping that this is all due to change in her environment and the fact it is in the winter months so she could be going threw the Hibernation thing (can't remember the real name) but not to eat for 3 days seems a little off. Any suggestions would be great.

Its more than likely relocation stress, sometimes they can go off eating for a while. In the meantime, until she starts eating live food, you can feed beardies baby food if they are not eating to give them the nutrients etc. You can mix in the calcium powder and/or vitamins with the baby food (are you giving her calcium powder and vitamins?). try some crickets, she may be sick of the superworms. The hybernation is called brumation- there is a care sheet on here about it. I wouldn't worry too much at the moment, as i said it's probably relocation stress.

Yes I have calcium powder that I coat the worms with before trying to feed her. Thank you for the advice on the baby food I will give it a try. I really hope it works as she is a great little girl. She is very mild mannered and like to roam around our living room. there is nothing I would like more than for her to be a happy dragon and live for a very long time. I am also off to the pet store to buy some crickets as well.

Well, I tried the crickets and had no luck. I did have her eat a bit of baby food when I placed it on her nose but not very much at all. She seems to be active, and she had a good "poop" today so I am hoping that they are good signs!!

I will post pictures of her when I figure out how!!!

they are good signs that shes active and pooping. Its still early days yet since her move but if it continues much longer i'd go to the vets for a fecal test. look forward to pics

It worked, thanks so much for letting me know...by the way the stop on her nose is where I tried to feed her baby food by placing it on the tip of her nose. She did take a few bites....
