normal for 2 year old beardie to sleep alot?

all my bearded dragon does is sleep or hide, it only comes out to eat or poo, is this normal?

setup i've been using since it was a baby

60 gall tank
average 30 degrees hot side
average 25 dfrees cool side
repti-glo 10

its nearly autumm here, last year we had a very early cold snap in australia so my bearded went into hibernation, is it tryin to do the same this year? (right now the days average 23-30 degrees) so its not that cold

Your temps should be higher, Hot side 100-110 and cool side should be 80-90

Mines is at 90-100 because if it gets hotter my beardie wont go anywhere near the hotside, and my cold side is at 80-90

and as the person above has made out, could be going into brumation

guys talking bout celsuis, sorry for the confusion.

brumation? its not even that cold ere, started autumn like 8 days ago and its not that cold

25C is good for the cold side, 30C is good for the warm side as long as his basking area is hotter. Whats the basking temp at? I would reccomend that you raise it by 5 making it 35 deg Celcius aka 95 Deg Farenheit.

Brumation is most likely the cause. Make sure you accually read that brumation artical because that will happen eventually and you will need to be ready for it weather or not its happening right now.

If he is this isnt going to be brumination. They will really cut down on all food while they go down. I see you have a reptiglo bulb? I have some issues as did many others. How old is it?

Also what are you measuring the temps with?

hi all,
i think its brumation, shes havnt waken up like a few weeks now (she did this nearly same time last year when we got a cold snap here)
but during summer she was like this as well so not sure.....

btw its 2.5 years old as noted in the thread title
