NORBERT HAS ARRIVED

We picked up our beardie a week ago Sunday. He moved out of temporary housing into his new habitat this evening. This is our first lizard. He's around 8 weeks old. Our only other pet is a goldfish, which isn't very interesting. We kept the class dragon over Christmas and decided a dragon might make a good pet for a household with allergies. So I've been researching this site for several months in preparation.

He was named Norbert after Hagrid's dragon in Harry Potter. I saw that someone else also has a Norbert, so maybe for the same reason.

Norbert finally ate some crickets today. He'd been eating his greens and licking water off my finger, but only one cricket until today. Today he ate 7 crickets and his greens. Hopefully he's over the stress of his new home, although he now has a different one as of tonight. He moved into his full-sized habitat, but will be putting him in smaller quarters to be fed. It's a few days after I started this intro now and he's still not eating to great.

If this works, here's a picture. Well... it didn't work. So is there a easy way to attach pictures?

Congrats on getting Norbert. Great name. Sorry to hear your little guy isn't eating too well. I don't have any advice as I'm new here but I hope he starts eating for you.
