Possible it's nightmares but, I would fathom a guess at it being another male.
I have 4 males, even when one is covered by a curtain, say Ifrit is covered and Des is covered (as is typical) and Ifrit head bobs cause Odin is eating... strangely enough Odin will start waving... Seka will duck her head down and Thor will get upset that Ifrit is upset and Des just sits there like "what an dumb dumb"..

I will try to get this on video some day. It really trips me out trying to figure it out.
I need to see this. If he keeps it up Ill ask the vet, but Im thinking night mares,

Perhaps I will try for it this weekend.
It is a common occurrence in my lizard room, hard to avoid with all the male lizard testosterone floating about. LOL

Try a hand towel or small blanket, something soft he can cuddle into.

I did take away his moo cow, I should add in the dolphin for him, he's been sleeping in the salad bowel

LOL salad bowel convertible. Kind of like a hide-a-bed in a way.

From what I can tell hes dead asleep like me then wakes up out of a dead sleep freaking out.. Maybe hes having night mares?

This isn't impossible- I've seen Croaker head-ob in his sleep before.

If he is otherwise acting normal (eating, pooping, basking, keeping his weight, etc) it could be nightmares. I've had times when I was watching TV with Malygos sleeping on me and he'd go from little dreaming twitches to suddenly waking up, gulping air, puffing his beard, and flopping around. It might be a normal thing he does and you just never noticed before until you were sick and couldn't sleep as well. I know I have a hard time sleeping through the morning cage scrambling if I am sick/get to sleep in. He might also have a hard time sleeping in his salad bowl (not very comfy) or there could be a feeder hiding in his cage. I've had Malygos wake up really late before because a cricket had hidden beneath the tiles and was crawling on him in his sleep. Try giving him a little soft spot to sleep and see if that helps him. Clean, cut-up T-shirts work well or even a little cloth pouch might make him feel safer and sleep better.

Nothing has changed, and I don't feed crickets, nor do I leave live food in their cage at night, its dangerous to do. And the first time he did this I wasn't sick, he loves sleeping in his salad bowel,, its very weird. Im going to pick up a stuffed animal from work today and give it to him. I think he misses his moo cow.

Ignore the weird looking stain on the substrate, that's poop from yesterday that I haven't cleaned out yet due to a cold.. He ran threw it after making it, so it looks weird

I just saw mine who was sleeping at the time shake his head back and forth a few times. It seemed like he was dreaming. Haha.
I know my dog would have dreams all the time ps he also snored... So loud!

I have three males as well and when I brought in the second one spike lost it I had to cover the ends of the cages it helps but they still know they're there. When I brought the baby home neither seemed to mind to much but I think it's because he's a baby. I have them in two different rooms but they can see the ends of the cages from the rooms. I sheeted the end of one cage. It's funny because darango is a huge male and spike is much smaller but spike got all black bearded and window banging and darango was doing the wave but now they switch back and forth. I guess it depends on who ate their wheaties that morning.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
