I know people say it should be 40 gallons at least, but I wanted a 12 inch high enclosure so I could get more mileage out of the existing heat/UVB setup.
The dome in front is for the CHE. There's a smaller dome behind it with a 60w incandescent. Those tiles are natural stone slate. I'll be getting more - Lowes only had 10 in stock. The UVB is an 18 inch Reptisun 10, in a Big Apple fixture.
Any comments or suggestions?

Also, I don't have a picture of it, but she's decided the log is nicer - temps are 107 under that lamp. Had a 75w in and it got a bit TOO hot.

Screens and glass can block upto 50% of the UVB from your Reptisun... otherwise it looks great :) I love the look of the tiles.

Glass blocks UVB entirely, actually. Screen does block a lot, which is why I have the basking spot so close to the light. The Exo Terra screen is actually letting more UVB through than the old tank's top, which was metal with holes in it.
I got the tiles because someone said the slate trims the nails naturally. She doesn't poop in the tank, so I won't have to worry about removing them. Still, I don't want to grout them in. The tank by itself weighs plenty.
Any thoughts on having an 18 inch light for a 36 inch long tank?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
