New to this. Is this tail rot?

Hey there. My son got a bearded dragon last Saturday. This is his first dragon, first reptile. He did a lot of research before he got his beardie but first hand experience makes for lots of learning. His dragon has a dark tail and he was wondering if it might be tail rot? I appreciate your input. Boy, are these guys ever fun.

Hi there, beardies often have darker coloring further down the tail like that. But just to be sure, can you post a few more pics of the tail [ entire tail ] itself ?
