Hey everyone!
My name is Lorna and I live in Scotland with my family, which includes my 5 year old daughter. We have over the past year been discussing owning a pet, and of course obviously (considering here I am posting) we have decided on a Bearded Dragon. We are all really excited that we have finally all agreed on a type of pet we all love, due to allergies and fears it did take us a while lol. The moment of truth came when we visited a zoo type thing and got to meet and cuddle their own lovely bearded dragon.
After lurking and just reading for a few weeks I decided that I should quickly put up a post, as I hoping that you guys will be my home away from home during my beardie adventure!
Our plan is to adopt a baby in september, which is soooo far away and is definately dragging in. The reason for the long wait is because we are going on a two week vacation and have decided that we don't trust anyone enough that we know to look after her/him while he/she is still young, also I don't want to stress any animal out by settling them in and dissapearing for a while. So for now I will just be reading, being completely over excited and loving every minute of the build up to a new addition to our family.
I am hoping to pick up advice on the best equipment etc during my time over the next two months and I hope to make some new friends. We have all the money we require for setup just sitting in the bank ready to go, I think I might be the only person looking forward to coming home from a holiday they haven't even been on yet haha!
