I just recently got a beardie, and since I have no knowledge of them, a friend of mine who owns one now, and owned a few before, was going to be helping me out. She sexed my beardie as a boy, but we just found out that is was a girl...She has been laying eggs like crazy, and they are almost clear, so they look ORANGE because you can see the yolk in them.
Now, I am not aware if she was EVER around a boy beardie before, so I dont know if these eggs are fertile or not. My questions are:
1. Is there a way to tell if they are fertile without having to wait 60 days?
2. If they are not fertile, how many eggs approx. will she lay?
3. How OFTEN will she be laying unfertilized eggs?
4. She has been laying between 1-3 eggs for the last few days...Is this normal for her to take a few days to lay them?
Thank you so much for anyone who gets back to me within good time! I am really worried that (formally named Butters) Betty Page could be in egg-bound trouble! (?)
