I just finished putting together our gecko setups. They were in these enclosures the whole time Ive had them, but I just finished setting up the backgrounds. I took some cork bark and cut it to make a shelf in each tank and then took a cork bark tube and cut it in half so they would each have a hide in their tanks. I set the ledges up differently so everything didn't look so similar. The first one has a second hide of sorts under the ledge/above the tube.
Here are some pictures. I was anxious because after gluing the pieces together the background have just been sitting in our bedroom for days so that I was sure there was not any scent from the glue.
Photos aren't the best. I just grabbed my point and shoot and snapped some quick photos rather than getting out my Rebel.
Julian- Male When he fires up his orange pattern is nearly the same color as that orange and the gray turns charcoal.
Libby- Female When she fires up she is creamier with darker sides.
