Thanks! The place I adopted him/her from said he was about 12 weeks old.

I saw on your other thread that you got the little guy from a rescue. That's great! So, have you picked a name yet? Good luck with the little one!

Yes, I got him/her from Southern Reptile Saviors in Wilmington, NC. This lady's female beardie had 12 babies and she couldn't keep them so she called them up and they took them in to find good homes.

I haven't named him/her yet because I can't find a good unisex name I like and I'm also waiting to see if it's a male or female. He/she's spoiled already often snuggles up in my hand and goes to sleep!

I'm glad that the lady took the babies to rescue and that you found the little one! Names are hard because you want to find the perfect one. I think a poster on the other thread suggested Pat, which is hilarious if you're old enough to remember the 90's Saturday Night Live skit!

Personally, I like knowing the gender so that I can give them a specific name so I don't blame you for waiting. In the meantime, spoil away! It's funny how cute they actually can be-especially once they start becoming cuddly. I have a baby not much older than yours and really enjoys interaction. I also have an adult that I basically rescued from a family. He was super unsocialized (and still isn't really cuddly but at least he doesn't try to bite me anymore!) but the most awesome moment I had with him was a day when he was out exploring and I was sitting on the floor. He had been walking around the room and then voluntarily came over and jumped up on my leg/into my lap. That's the extent of snuggling from him but it was pretty awesome!

Thanks! It's weird also but my baby beardie enjoys being sung to! LOL It calms him/her and it'll close his eyes and snuggle down in my hand. He likes Silent Night; just relaxes him. I looked at him/her and said you're spoiled rotten already!LOL I bought him some bok choy from Trader Joes, that is okay for him to eat right? He loves turnip greens! What are some things you feed your baby?

That's hilarious! I've not tried singing (for everyone's sake!) but I've noticed that both beardies respond to my voice. I always say something to them each time I pass by their vivs or when they're out for a baths or feeding.

Okay, yes, buying produce for your baby at Trader Joes does make him/her spoiled!! Haha! Bok choy is fine occasionally but not as the main green because it has goitrogens, which I guess can possibly cause thyroid issues. My boys enjoy collard greens-even the baby eats them right up. I tried turnip greens but neither one really seemed to like them. Sometimes I'll throw in some butternut squash or mango. Of course, right now the baby is eating a ton of bugs and I'll get them wax worms from time to time as a treat. Mostly just crickets and reptiworms, though.

Baby also eats turnip greens, collard greens (not his fave) and mustard greens. I've fed him some butternut squash but haven't tried the mango yet. Thanks for the link!! I came home today and found him/her shedding. I'm leaning towards calling him Snuggles (LOL) because he loves to snuggle on me. Last night he crawled up to my armpit and burrowed himself there and went to sleep. Then later on my palm of my hand. He loves my voice too and loves to be talked to. Here are some pics!

Oh my gosh, he is so cute!! I feel bad for them when they shed-it looks so uncomfortable! It's always fun to see their new color afterwards, though. I kind of like the name Snuggles-definitely fits!

I've got to get some pics of my baby up here soon. They grow so fast, you have to preserve the baby-ness (hmmm...) as much as possible.
