Meet Oscar.
I'm not sure how old Oscar is. I've had him for a little over a month. He was about 6 inches long when I brought him home. His is now 11 inches and 35gms. He eats 20-30 dusted crickets a day.
Day I brought him home.
He has quite a personality. He loves to watch me do dishes and cook dinner. (His viv sits on the counter between our living room and kitchen above the sink.) He knows when its time to eat. He watches me prepare his crickets, practically jumping up and down waiting for them. He loves to cuddle and very much loves car rides (more so the sun.)
He has his moments. He absolutely does not like to eat his veggies. But I can get him to eat baby food off a spoon or from a dropper. I think I've tried everything, but he still wont eat them. I still offer them everyday. He more so plays in them. I find them all over his cage. (If he's eating them he makes sure to do it when I'm not around.)
He's a pretty happy little beardie except for one thing. Since day one he has had an on going issue with his left back foot. Vet says its been squished. Not sure how it may have happened. It's finally looking good after several visits to the Vet, an anti-biotic, and SSD ointment.
I'm excited to have Oscar. He's the first reptile I've ever had. I think I'm spoiling him. I don't care as long as he is happy.
