new owner of 2 baby beardies in need of help!!

I have recently bought 2 bearded dragons from my local pet store. I have had them both and maintaining them a healthy diet of crickets and meal worms.... but the thing im having troubles with is getting them to eat some veggies. the only green i have tried to ffeed them so far is romaine lettus... i have put meal worms into the salad to try to get the beardies to eat the greens but the just go for the worms. i dont know if they may be just too young to even eat the greens or if i should try another green. now i dont wanna waste money on somthing they wont eat if they wont eat the greens now...

Just keep trying. It can take some baby dragons awhile to like greens/veggies.

Ditch the romaine. get collard or turnip greens.

i agree

babies dont eat as much greens they eat more feeders but always offer them so they wont refuse them as adults

collard greens/mustart greens/turnup greens are very cheep imo

just a few $ for a huge bundle
and usually some kind of squash is only 50 cents or so

also i would reccomend ditching the mealworms as well they are hard for babies to digest

Some dragons are different. My baby eats greens like a champ but some others wont. Ditch the mealies and pick up some collard & dandelion greens. You can get them at Tops if you have one local, cost me about 59 cents a week, lol.
