Haha, not that I would be able to go to a beach anyway! But yes, I changed out the sand right as I found out it was bad. I have a couple towels in there. The towels don't have anything she can ingest or get her teeth stuck on or anything.

I am sorry about Agnes..That is just so sad lately PetSmart has just been ticking me off. I try not to ever go there. Even the way they handle their pets irks me. ._. So Achilles is still going strong? That's great How did you end up getting him?

Snowdrop you live in Ireland? Wow, that's far. Anyways you have all sorts of great animals, makes me jealous. ;P I hope someday I will be able to rescue a dragon and raise him in a good home. I just need the experience first!

I know! Rescue can be so rewarding, but can cost a lot! But fred and seven are doing well, and it makes me so happy to know that i will give them the best life i can!

I live in a mobile home as we are saving to get married! One day when i build a house my dream is to havea room for my dragons and be able to rescue more!

It is a dream at this point but a possible one! Although my three, 5 including the snakes take up a lto of my time! But i never realised how much happiness i get from them and dragon snuggles are the best!

OKAY. Today I went to the city planning on getting her checked up on by the vet..I went to the vets office and he was CLOSED today, for unknown reasons. I am not really even sure he was experienced in dragons...I didn't see him on the experienced reptile vets list where I found that link on this site..

SO, I went to Petsmart, where I got her. I asked them what could be wrong and the lady said she was just not warm enough. I told her my basking spot is on a normal 102-106 during the day. Isn't that just about right? Anyway, they told me they would take care of her for me and see if I am really just doing something wrong and I can come back in a few days to see how she is doing. I am going to call on Saturday and just make sure...I really want her to be alright I will do anything

Is what I am doing right? I am so frustrated right now

I didn't know Petsmart did that kind of stuff, that's nice at least! Gives them a few more, smaller points in my book. I didn't know or I would've sent Agnes back there to get checked up on, too...
But yes, Achilles is still going strong, and I got him because Agnes had passed away less than a week after I got her from petsmart and they have a 14 day policy so I was able to go back and get Achilles. I wasn't happy and I just wanted my money back so I could go to a breeder, but the lady tempted me by saying, "Well we just got a new shipment of the Fancy Bearded Dragons..." :roll: so I went just to take a peek. And that's when I saw Achilles. The other guys were a lot bigger than him and he was doing a glass dance as if to say "please take me home with you!"...and so, I decided to give petsmart another chance. And it seems to have worked out fine He is thriving and doing great.
I hope Squeaks ends up getting better, keep us posted!!

I have good news! I called PetSmart last night to check up on how my squeak is doing...They said she is doing good! They said they made it a bit warmer than I had the temperature in my viv, and that she ate about 8 or 9 crickets in one sitting, when she would only eat 3-5 at most with me. O_O

I am going to go get my squeak in a few hours! I can't wait I really hope she is doing better

Congratulations on getting Squeak back.

Did you raise the temps in her viv at home so she continues to eat?
Keep in mind that when you get her home she may still go thru relocation stress again...they hate change of any kind.

I got a new cage for squeak for a little while! I got her a 10gal because I think she will like the concentrated heat more. I also got her a nice higher watt bulb, that raises the basking spot temp up to 109-111.

I just got back from PetSmart! Squeak is lookin' GOOD! I think they were totally right about the heat. I feel so bad. On the other hand, YAY!

I let Squeaks in to her new cage and she loves it! xD She already ate about 9 tiny crickets! More than she's ever had! I think things will be looking up from now on

I have some other slightly amazing news....

I have a new guy added to my family Now when I got him he was the biggest of the bunch. He was about twice the size of the smallest, them being all the same age and from the same batch. When I brought him home, I let him into his new big viv(Squeak's old..) and he went straight to the basking log and declared himself king. xD I have already given him a name! Hercules. He sits up like he is the king of the house and he just straight up looks B.A. xD

What's funny is, when Squeak sees him from her own cage, she puffs up like she's the tough one, when normally she's the "waver." I think my Squeaks going to be very strong ^^ (also, she doesn't even seem stressed, she looks way better now then when I first got her o_o)

Hercules, unlike Squeak, was extremely healthy looking when I got him. I got him from the Petco from across the street(Take THAT PetSmart). He ate about 18 small crickets when I first got him.

YAY!!!!!!!
