New enclosure UVB question-please advise : )

I've just upgraded my 3ft viv to a 4ft. I ordered a new arcadia 12% UVB thats 36 inches but it hasn't arrived yet. Im wondering if its ok to use my 26inch UVB in the 4ft viv until it comes or shall i just keep my beardie in the 3ft viv for now. I'm a bit impatient and dying to transfer her to the new viv. Thanks for any advice

The 26" will be fine until your new one arrives. The general rule I follow is the UVB bulb should cover 50% to 75% of the enclosure length.

Exellent, thanks for the reply. My cage is sitting there nearly done and i can't wait any longer lol. The new one should be here in a couple of days. Thanks again
