New enclosure, how do i...?

sanitize everything??? i bought it from another person, so its not brand new, and there used to be another reptile in there. i also have the wood and rocks set up for him to sit on, but id like to make sure those are clean too. i wiped down the tank with clorox wipes and its completely spotless, then rinsed with water, but is that good enough?
please help asap cuz i want to move him in!!

You could put the wood and rocks in the oven on 275 for like 30-45 minutes. That is what I have done. Some wood won't work in the oven though, I think it's pine and theres another one... releases sap when it's hot. I did boil my stuff first, but I might be a little over cautious.... Good luck

ive never tried puting wood in the oven....so i cant recomend anything for that. but for rocks i soaked them in a diluted bleach solution, rinsed them, then baked them in the oven at 250 for around 30 minutes.

thanks. what about the tank itself? i wiped it down with disinfectant and rinsed with water but is that enough?

You can use a very diluted bleach solution, or you can buy a reptile safe cleaner from the pet store,
