So this is my second Beardie and I've had him for a week today. He's got the proper setup and everything but he's terrified of me and will barely eat when I try and feed him. He came to me from a breeder in California so he was shipped overnight and spent about 14 hours in shipping. I barely handle him probably only 3 times since I've gotten him just to make sure he's adjusting ok. But every time I approach him he tends to hide and when I put dubias in his tank he won't go for them. Maybe one or two but he's super hesitant and when I approach to put more he freezes. And won't eat anymore. He eats his greens and I have a small Tupperware which I put a few dubias in and when I'm not around he'll eat them. I'm not sure what else to do as with my first Beardie I didn't have anywhere near this problem. Help as it's been a week and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Should I handle him more to get him used to me?
And he's also only pooped twice, and not for a couple days. I don't see how it could be impaction because the little he's eaten has definitely been small enough. He also doesn't spend nearly as much time in his basking area
