New Beardie Owner

Hi I'm Amy and we just got a Beardie from someone who does exotic animal rescue 2 weeks ago.

This is Caesar, he is about 1 1/2 years old. I had him on sand but read all the bad things about it so made this for his tank

He is eating great and temps in tank seem to be good finally. Here is his finished 75 gallon tank

And here is Caesar napping with two of our dogs, Maggie & Lily. They love him!

I have also read I should have gotten the reptisun 10.0 fluorescent tube instead of the coil which I had bought the coil so next pay I will switch it out! So much to learn!

That looks like a really nice home for him =). The tube style UVB will provide a nice even distribution of light. I suggest getting one that runs at least 1/2 the length of the tank. I also suggest getting a T5 bulb & fixture with a reflector to provide optimal output. This can be placed right on top of the tank.
