Ok good the distance 8-10 inches directly above the basking decor and it looks like it's about that
How's the behavior going so far?

He hasn’t eaten all day and looks dark. He had been eating crickets well. I did bathe him this morning and held him for the first time outside his tank and he seemed to like that. Maybe it’s just been a lot for one day

All the rearranging in the tank they don't like change-- give him time to adjust keep offering him food- hold him in his tank short times
