New beardie eating troubles

Today I purchased my new beardie from Petco (not the greatest place, I know) but a few weeks ago I noticed they were having a sale on the older dragons and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. So I went online and read/watched many things to make sure I set up the enclosure just right before bringing him home. My beardie is approx 6 months old according to the rep at Petco. I have him currently in a 40gal breeder. The woman who helped me at the store let me know they usually feed them insects around 5pm. I had my beardie in it's enclosure since about 3pm and it seemed to be doing fine. Exploring his new habitat, basking and showing normal behavior. However when 5pm came around I offered him crickets and he was not eating. He ate one bug and then went to rest on his branch. I read that beardies are good at letting you know when they're full so I'm wondering if this just means he's full from an earlier meal or maybe just stressed from being in a new space. I just turned out the lights and he went right to sleep. I'll try feeding again tomorrow - just wanted some input :) Thanks!

they do stop eating when they are full. He also could be adjusting to his new environment and not eat much over the next two weeks. He just needs some time to adjust and it differs from dragon to dragon

6 months old , they still need TWO live insect feedings per day.

Good feeders are medium sized (about 2" long) and even large sized silkworms (being soft bodied and very squishy and juicey a 6 month old will have no problem eating a couple of large silkworms as a meal.
Other good feeder insects for a 6 month old are 2/3 sized crickets (on the small end of the size) who are lightly dusted with calcium powder OR similar sized roaches or locasts (if they are available).
My gang were getting a big live cricket feed in the am , and when I had them some medium or large silkworms (on a fresh mulberry leaf) presented with their greens (buk choi) and grated veg (carrot + sweet potato) daily at 6 months old. If no silkworms , they were getting up to 30 medium (2/3 sized) crickets each spread over 2 meals (biggest meal in the am).

Don't worry if your new spikey child is not interested much in food for the first few days to a week with you , it's common for them to experience relocation stress and to go off their tucker. Keep offering the bugs (a few at a time, if he is hungry he'll catch and eat them).

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
