I paid $37 for each of them. I thought that was a pretty good deal, they were on sale (that sounds bad, hate to think of my babies being "ON SALE" lol.) I have been wanting one with a red sort of color for a while and have researched prices....I havn't seen it that low BUT I don't know who parents are either, That's the down side to it I guess. They're both super sweet and i'm not planning on breeding so it's not really a big deal to me.

Thanks for sharing that video!! Still looking like Loki is a boy and the newbie is a girl! Everytime I check they both get stress marks and that makes it even more difficult!!

I'm thinking Thea, Eva, or Avelina for the newbie!! I'm sure i'll change my mind 10 times before I actually decide! lol

To be honest, I probably SHOULD have waited to get another beardie...I just can't stand to see them suffer. I should definitely stop going over and looking at the babies everytime I go into a pet store now....seeing as how I can't take them ALL home. lol. Feeding two is really going to be a stretch but we'll get through it. Hopefully as they get older they'll slow down on the cricket intake, good lord they're going to eat me out of house and home!!

This whole not knowing if they're boys or girls is really getting frustrating. I hate naming them then changing it again but I don't want them to both be nameless until i figure it out!! I went with Loki for my first one, assuming it's a boy (Lokie if it's a girl?! lol, we'll figure something out) I'm just really drawing a blank on what to name this baby...

Thats why I named mine Mungogerrie lol.Good looking babies.

Anyways, he is a bit rough with the dragons but, all in all they seem okay with it. If you do this just be a tad bit more gentle..

Well guys. We've decided on a name for the new baby girl!! I think we're going to go with Isis!!

Our vet saved us a ton of money with our 3 beardies by suggesting this site http://www.komodoreptiles.com/ we order 1000 1/4 sized crickets when they were young for $12.25 plus few dollars shipping. We keep them in a ten gallon aquarium feeding them left over greens, yellow cricket quench and flukers grain. We put about a weeks worth into the cricket keeper at a time. That lasts close to 3 weeks for 3 dragons. Going to the local pet store cost us about $50-60 a week for 3 dragons...huge savings!!

Really hoping she makes it too. The past few days have been a struggle. She ate the first day we got her home..yesterday she didnt eat at all and had wrinkles on her sides,..so I talked to the vet and she prescribed Isis prescription high calorie critical care wet dog food. She refused to even look at the stuff when I offered it to her so I ended up having to force feed her last night(as the vet said) this nasty dog food, but it if makes her better, it's so worth it. I force fed her this morning,...then Mom fed her 3 crickets today while I was working just to see if she'd eat them....she ate 2 of the 3. So maybe this is a good sign? She's really starting to worry me.

So sorry to hear about Phantom! Hope to see pictures of your new baby soon.
