new baby beardie help!

Hey everyone its my first post so im not sure if im in the right place. I currently have a handicaped beardie that my friend gave me. Almost a year old i believe. So i went to petsmart and got another one, hes super tiny maybe 2 months old i could be mistaken . Hes in a 20g right now with a hard metal screen cover, 75w red basking bulb and 10.0 uvb light, good or no??? My 1 year old has a 40g with a 75w red basking bulb and a 26w uvb bulb. Good or no?
Any suggestions on lighting configuration/setup for a 20g baby beardie ? Plan on going shopping today for him.

Red basking bulbs are not good for beardies. Others can correct me if I am wrong but you can goto a place like Walmart or a home improvement store and get a flood light. For a 20g tank you'll probably only need a 65watt. I'm not sure if they come smaller than that. You don't want the basking spot to be too hot usually around 105.

What kind of 10.0 Are you using? a tube? A coil?

Red light is a no go , for heat just use a reg basking light or flood light. You can use a dimmer if your temps are too high in your basking spot. Ideal basking temps are between 105-110. I use a basking bulb and a ceramic heat emitter for heat during the day , and just leave the CHE going at night .

Currently using repti carpet . So red is a no goo, ceramic heater sounds good to me . The uvb is a coil im assuming. Plan on getting a hood/tube tomorrow

I use a zoo med 100w Connected to a dimmer. My houses ambient temperature fluctuates a lot, especially in my office where my reptiles are, i own a computer business, and I do a LOT of work at home.

my house usually stays about 71-74 everyday and all day.
I'm using the zooMed 10.0 uvb 13w mini compact fluorescent
a 75w red basking bulb for night (everyone told me to get a Ceramic heater emitter so i will tomorrow)

and a 75w repti basking spot lamp ZooMed for the day

The compacts are no good, you need a 22" t5 or a t8 bulb at least.

If you go t8 make sure they can get within about 8 inches of the bulb at their basking spot. Also, stick to either reptisun or arcadia
