New baby beardie. Fat pads sunken, refusing to drink

So after my beardie spike passed away last month I decided I had a space in my heart that I needed to fill.

We got sparky just under 2 weeks ago. He seemed healthy etc, he was from a breeder.

Now to me his fat pads are sunken, and I think his eyes might be sunken too (not 100%)
He refuses to drink from anything bathing and water on his nose etc I've tried everything.
He's eating greens and his insects every feed. He's not as active as I thought a baby beardie would be. Shedding fine. Popping seems normal.

I might be over worrying after spike passing away. But I want to make sure I give sparky the best life possible, and want to make sure he's completely healthy and happy. He's my first baby beardie, spike was 2 when we got him so he was fully grown etc.

Has anyone got any tips on getting him to drink and raising baby beardie tips?

Many thanks

I can certainly relate after losing our water dragon to parasites and watching him decline no matter what we did. Our new beardie (we just got him Saturday)? I know I hover a lot right now and I'm okay with that :) We are off to the vet today for his new beardie check-up. Sparky looks lovely.

Sorry for your loss. After seeing spikes decline I seem to notice everything and over think it.
Beardies are awesome. Sparky has defiantly filled most of the space in my heart that spike left. He's gorgeous. He's mid shed at the moment so his colours aren't no where near as Stunning as they usually are.

Looks very healthy, nothing to worry about. BTW, beardie heads vary in shape, many don't develop lumpy or muscular pads on their heads.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
