New Addition Juuji

Okay so on friday I will paying for my newest addition to the family, so i thought I should make her a thread too!
Her name is Juuji, she is currently 14 inches long and 89 grams. She was hatched on March 9, 2010. She is a german giant from Rio Reptiles- Cheryl... *Thank you for everything Cheryl* I cant wait to see her! I am trying to get the day off for that day so i can be home when she arrives, if not she will have to come to the vet clinic where i work... (not a big deal but probably not as comfy as her new home) I'm so excited that i may come out of my skin!!! ahhhh!!!!
Anyways... enough jabber... here is a pic that Cheryl sent me.... She will probably be a patternless adult!!

heyyy sorry its been a minute before posting. Phoenix has started his panacur, so far so good, although he did get himself all worked up *i assume because he doesnt like it* and threw up a roach, so far he wont eat for me.... :roll: he's still mad at me...
as for Juuji, she is weighing in at 89 grams now and i'm waiting on the antiphiloz + to get here to start her albon, i have given her 1 dose with soy yogurt but she is HATING that and is now refusing food too... so its been a struggle the past few days.... not to mention she is also shedding! :shock: she is so grey its unreal, and she seems to dehydrated to me... i bathe her tues, thurs, sat and have added an extra bath to sat and one to sunday too, everytime she will put her head under the water and drink it like she is just so thirsty... any tips to keep her hydrated? I do have some pics but everytime i get time to put them up i find something else that i need to do first lol! i'll do my best to post some pics of them this weekend.
Phoenix is at the vet clinic with me today so i should have a good few for his thread

oh man she has been the definition of grumpy! she would fight me for everything... she didn't want to bathe, didn't want to eat, didn't want to be held, you name it... *I'm preaching to the choir here lol*

Phoenix and I went to the park at 9... we were back home at 11 and saw this:

she was having such a good time, my rents live in an apartment so she could run anywhere and not get lost, so we let her play, we all kept a very close eye on her though...
after all her travels she was so tired...

What a sweetie! I hope shes feeling better now that she has shed.
How do your beardies handle traveling? I would love to bring my boy to my boyfriends house, but he gets stress marks/dark colored from just going to a different room in my house.

she is definatly feeling better now that the shed is gone :mrgreen: we are still using the albon for her coccidia but i think she likes it lol!!!! she will lick the syringe when i put it in front of her and if i dont get the albon out fast enough she will bite it lol!!! she doesnt seem to like the acidophilz though... she's so crazy...
anyways Phoenix does GREAT while traveling with us. i put his blanket on the dash board so he can stay warm and he stays there till we get to our desintation, i started him when he was little though *check out his thread*... and Juuji is getting better... she gets stressed at first, but then she warms up in the sun on the dash and turns bright yellow for me. i assume she likes it... as for your baby all i can suggest is keep working at it... your baby will get better with traveling also i do keep a small animal carrier in the car in-case Juuji gets hyper :mrgreen:

this weekend i'm going to find my tape measure and measure both my babies! lol! we moved everything into our new shed and now can find NOTHING, yall know how that goes i'm sure lol! anways i'll get current weights and legnths on saturday or sunday!! :mrgreen: i'm very excited to see how much weight she had gained... she came to me at 79 grams.... so we will seee
