New Addition Juuji

Okay so on friday I will paying for my newest addition to the family, so i thought I should make her a thread too!
Her name is Juuji, she is currently 14 inches long and 89 grams. She was hatched on March 9, 2010. She is a german giant from Rio Reptiles- Cheryl... *Thank you for everything Cheryl* I cant wait to see her! I am trying to get the day off for that day so i can be home when she arrives, if not she will have to come to the vet clinic where i work... (not a big deal but probably not as comfy as her new home) I'm so excited that i may come out of my skin!!! ahhhh!!!!
Anyways... enough jabber... here is a pic that Cheryl sent me.... She will probably be a patternless adult!!

so i'm taking pics of a "hard workin' beardie" while we are at work so i'll update when i get home from work... she is so amazing... i really look up to those who breed these AMAZING creatures, but i applaud them for being able to let the babies go.. i dont think i could do it lol!!! Juuji is getting LOTS of attention from my coworkers and myself of course... i love working at a vet clinic... the people i work with are open minded about different animals and have really taken to her and my baby phoenix... i dont think she has been in her box but for maybe about 2 hours... since then she has been loved on and she is still stress free!! She is loving all this attention!

Kat, yes she is definatly not afraid of much,lol!! I decided to forego baths last night, once we got home i thought it best if i gave her some snuggles some fresh crispy greens and some roaches.... she ate a good chunk of her greens but only ate one dusted roach for me, but thats okay as she adjusts she will do better....
well here are some pics of her....

This is her first pic in her new home... I was honestly worried because its so big and she's still got a lot of growing to do but she showed me lol! She really seems to love it!! this is her when she was first put in her viv! oh the bowl is what she was shipped in and she seems really attached to it thats why thats in there lol, she was in there for a good 30 mins at least, not long but long enough to learn where she was lol

Now this blew me away.... she is so curious that she just cant help herself lol! this is what let me know that her viv was okay for her even though shes so small...

She is definatly something else... there isnt anyway to describe her! Oh btw, when i got home she was in her carrier, its screened so she can see out and phoenix saw her.... this is what he did...

Yes he's working up his beard... he just looked at her... sometimes i wonder what he thinks... He never did move from his branch thing until i moved her then he followed me (in his tank of course) just trying to see what i was doing...

well guys thats all i have for now... tonight is actually Phoenix's bath and Juuji's playtime... yes i know... i'm crazy... i have a pdf 2010 calander and it shows my alternating days... mon, wed, fri, phoenix bath and juuji play, then tues, thrus, sat are juuji bath and phoenix play then sunday is both play time *at different times lol* I'm so scheduled that unfortunatly i have to schedule all my babies too lol!!! well i'm off to read some postings... gosh i hope today goes by fast... i miss phoenix and juuji.... :love5:

okay so the hubby took Juuji outside for some natural sunlight today... sorry no pics, hes not a picture freak like me lol!! He also spent some time with Phoenix so that he wouldnt get stressed out with the new baby in the house... I love my beardies!! :love10:

Diane, he is so gentle with her!! its very sweet, but she is definatly the sturdy one lol!! Take a look at these... Yesterday was her FIRST play day...
thank you Elijah! I got that baby blanket at the dollar store! i couldnt leave it!! it was pretty and its sooo soft!

I find it so funny that BOTH my dragons like the dog kennel...

Yesterday she ate a good chuck of her salad: collars, kale, mustard, squash topped with some dragon bites and when i got home she ate 3 good sized roaches... even with me choosing the smallest i could find she had to work at them for a minute... needless to say after eating and running she got sleepy / cold pretty quick...
