Need little help on temps

Hi im trying to figure out something better to do with Shenron's viv for heating. With summer time my room is getting hotter and then by time i get done work it has dropped down again. Ranges from 70-80 in my room if i dont run my window fans. His tank is 36"x18"x12". I was using a flukers 60watt basking bulb and 60watt daylight bulb on opposite ends but now the temps are too high. His cold side using a temp gun is at 87-90 and basking spot 113 if i run both bulbs at once. Oh and alot of the time i find him under the daylight bulb trying to bask there. I was wonderin if i should use a che bulb instead of the daylight and use a smaller basking bulb.

It sounds like you're having a problem with the temps on each side. If you use just the 60 watt basking bulb and a 25 watt household bulb on the cool side, what are the temps then?

Just curious, what are you using for UVB and do you have that alongside the basking bulb?
