I do have a question.. Forgot last night! My beardie had whip worm and was on a 3 day antibiotic. What warning signs did u see for the fatty liver. Rosie just stopped eating period but my vet said everything is okay. We have done stool samples, x rays(24) in a week. Her bone structure is perfect...etc! Just not eating!!! It doesn't make since to me. I met a lady a while back and her breadie did the same thing and she had to feed Critial Care and had been doing for 2 yrs...I'm just at a lose and don't wanna like u ruin our bond, Rosie is family!! I have 2 5 yr old and a 2 yr old and she is awesome with them, nothing for her has changed other than she is becoming a sub adult! Idk I'm just frustrated myself!!

Hi my dragon was eating fine, it was fluke that my vet found it when my dragon got invasive work done after showing signs of heavy breahing!

My vet also told me it not unusual for dragins to go without for weeks but if you find some different foods from outside to stimulate them like woodlice or daddy longlegs or house spiders! Then you will know if they are interested or just not hungry. Honestly unless your dragon looks depressed or lathargic i wouldnt worry a couple of days without especially after antibiotics for worms isnt bad.

Continue probiotics and as long hes not lying depressed and eats within another 2 weeks you'll be fine.

Ive also noticed you say sub adult by that do you mean about year and a half? If do then brumation is a possibility if i were you id up the temps or change uv light and if that doesnt get a reaction find an unusual bug to stimulate appetite. As long as not looking ill i Wouldnt worry. I found out about liver disease after surgery to see what was going on. But that was after 6 antibiotics and to be honest my dragon is the healthiest hes ever looked so ive mever really seen a sign as such.xx after worming it takes quite a while to eat sometimes

Rosie is 11months olds. The vet also said she felt then saw lil eggs and could possibly b a reason! She had the worms then we found and an impaction and y all the X-rays! She hasn't all together ate on her own for lil over 2 weeks or well 15 days! She's as happy as could be other than not eating. I'm such a weird germ person... I have been crazy careful of what she eats.. Where it came from etc... I honestly could get a spider and give her!! :( I knw I knw!! I also have tried about 30 different items from beautifuldragons diet list!! We go back on the 7th.. I hope we can figure out

I honestly dont think you have much to worry about im sure he will start eating again and aslong as everything else is normal sometimes when they are wormed its quite harsh on them

My dragon didnt eat for 4 months, which was hard to take as his RI kept coming back and wouldnt eat when on antibiotics.

Which brings me to another worry of my own ive spotted my dragon forcing his breaths out again and alot of open mouth breathing. I hope it not returning again because of the stress of forcing fluids :/ if it is creeping back my poor dragon is a goner as he isnt allowed anymore antibiotics.

I have spotted him looking a bit grim at points today whic worries me and i suppose his open mouth breathing never really stopped just seemed worse today.

The craziest thing I have foud out is they are so good at hiding illnesses!! But eating like he is ... I would also think he was doing great!! I have noticed mine deep mouth breath after I give her the feeding.. At first, I thought I made her asperate and freaked out watching her for the next 2 hrs just to see and after 30 mins of warming up.. Took her out to b with me to monitor!! I think it's more so stress.. But haven't had to deal with as much as your baby and u!! Good luck and my prayers....

Bad news my beardie has bubbles coming out of his nose which probably means RI is back which in return means a dead bearded dragon as he can no longer take antibiotics because of his liver.

Gutted that everything i have put into this looks like its all about to fall apart.

Hi, ours is just back to himself..it seems if you tuck a syringe into corner of his mouth, then as soon as he gives a little, squirt--that helps..he gets used to it..ours was smaller, but still,I wouldnt worry so much about pressure, better to save him, he can take a little pressure, they are stronger than say,geckos..

Oh....... Well before u think anything official, get him to vet in am!!! I'm so sorry man, which to u right now means ... Well nothing! Just knw u gave it all and have faith! Certain events happen only to make us stronger, don't lose hope yet!!! Keep me posted!!

Well i bumped his heat up last night to the same as day time temps and i have seen no evidence of bubbles from nose today. I will keep temps raised until im confident its not there but i have to watch for dehydration with his liver issue.

Please please please be ok!!!!

I actually wouldn't make his night temps as high as daytime temps as that could cause dehydration, it's important they have it cooler at night. Keeping the night temp at about 80 or just very slightly higher, should help boost his immune system.

Please keep us updated on him.

Hi

I have turned it down slightly i just had it that high last night because of the buubles from nostril and also the fact he mostly sleeps on coolside of his enclosure.

Something really strange but good just happened, i put a little calcium and vit powder in critical care tonight and warmed the 5ml of water to 40c a little warmer than vet told me to and my we beardie struggled when i first opened his mouth but once i put the syringe in and pusshed a little critical care in he took all 5ml never struggled no heavy breathing afterwards he just calmly as you like took it.

Really strange after first 2ml went in i stopped as i thought something was wrong with him but when i went with next lot he just let me open his mouth while i dripped it on the back of his tongue.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
