NEED HELP BREEDING SILKIES PLEASSSSEEEE

OK, i already tried breeding silkies once , i fed the silkies til they were 2.5 or 3 inches long..then i put them in a container with tolietpaper rolls, hoping they would cocoon, but they bid not.. i waited like a month.. what am i doing wrong please help!!!!. right now i have some worms that are like 3 inches

I remember that they stop eating and start standing still in a weird position for a little bit, and excrete a weird green frass. Then they start trying to find a thing to spin on, which is when you move them to paper towel tubes or egg flats.

I know NOTHING about Breeding Silk Worm's, but it seem's like you should just feed them until they want to Stop eating, and then maybe they'll get ready to Cocoon?

i have one more question re; breeding my worms. when they stop eating and i move them to another container with papertowel rolls, does the container needs to be dark??

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
