Hey everyone. We are first time beardie owners and currently have a approximately 6 month old beardie that's in a 20 long right now and growing very fast. I was looking at getting a 40 breeder, but figured I should just spend the extra money and get Phoenix his life terrarium now. What do you recommend for size? I was thinking either a 48x24x24 or a 60x24x24. Also what is a good place to buy one at? We live in small town Iowa and there are no places around here that sell enclosures. We also don't want to spend an arm and a leg for one. Currently Phoenix has isospora, a form of coccidia, that he is battling. Any advice on how to completely eradicate that? For now we have been using paper towels as substrate with only food dish, water dish, and a cardboard box that he can get on top for basking and inside to hide since he has been diagnosed. The moment we see poop, we take everything out and scrub it down and anything that his vent touched after pooping we discard since we know it's a life cycle bacteria.
