need a little help

so im fed up of having to buy crickets/worms every week so im making a box to hold the crickets and another for worms.
im using calci/phoenix worms

so what do they both need to healthy and live longer?

what temps?
food/water?
hides?

i know the basics but im going to try get a good set up going so i can buy in bulk once a month or somthing.

Roaches are probably the right answer. As far as the phoenix worms, they don't need food. Just put them someplace around 55f they'll slow down and last for weeks.

ok I currently have a myriad of feeders in my house.

the crickets are room temperature (68-70) and have cotton soaked with water for fluids, and oatmeal and fish flakes to eat.

The super worms (200+ are in a bed of oatmeal and apples) are also room temperature.
The reptiworms are in a drawer (we feed those in the AM with the salad). These are easiest by far - keep them in a drawer and pull them out for feeding.
The waxworms in the fridge (major treat status, might give her one or two once in a while)
Roaches have a heat lamp to keep it 85 degrees or so, I put the oranges in there (viagra) let's get started already!

how old/big do beardies need to be before you can feed roaches?? as mine are about 14-15 inches and the other about 10 inches they arnt that old yet still juvie.

im from the uk if you hadnt noticed and we dont get stuff here as easy as some other places. well at least i dont all he pet stores near me are usless.

Dubias are the way to go. Once you get a colony up and running there really is not a lot of additional expense. Electricy for the heating and throw in fruits and vegetables. There are a ton of posts on them that you should look through.

As far as the ages of your bearded, that really doesnt matter. You would just base the size of roach per the size of the dragon, not too different than crickets.

Less smell, easy to raise, no recurring charges having to buy more every week/month.

Having switched from crickets to roaches has made things SO much easier. Would recommend them over crickets any day.
