I always liked names that showed some of the personal tastes of the owner.

I usually go with names out of literature or mythology. Movies, video games or TV shows can be helpful, too.

Mine is named Sasquire Hiccimus Flondel II. I like making up off the wall names lol

I am so bad at that too, takes me forever, i write down a bunch of names and then i can't decide , i have 5 beardies 3 have names , 2 don't (they are my newest ones , they are babies, i've had them almost a month) my other 3 are "fergie" , "red" , and " luna" but what you can do and it's fun , google pet names or reptile names and you will find thousands of names , it'll keep you busy for awhile.

I feel like the naming should be a very personal thing. My dragon has had two namings. Originally, as a baby, her name was Benjamin. I called her Benni. However, after finding out later that she was a female, we had a second naming, and now her name is Ozma. My girlfriend calls her Daisy, though I don't approve. I read a lot, so I usually want a name that will come from a story or book I've read. I like a name that is kind of off the wall or slightly obscure, and if people recognize the name somehow, I give them props.

But then sometimes I just name them in a funny mood. My snake is named Orly.

But yeah, in general I lean toward literary names.
