hi everybody! cristmas is getting closer(getting my beardie just after cristmas ) and i already have almost everything i need for him. just not him yet . I am trying to decide on a name for him(thinking about "chuck sarurus" (thats why i named my profile as it)) .but i am still open for suggestions. :dontknow:

We usually have a dragon for a month or 2 before we name it, just to see if it has a name suited to its looks, personality, habits, or something it does that makes us laugh. Tough to name babies till sex is certain sometimes, too. We've had a "Buttercup" that became a "Thor" lol.

I share in your excitement I always like to get new beardies

Some names come immediately, others take time. Chuck Saurus is good, or Chuck O'Saurus, if there's any Irish in his/her background. And Chuck can be for a boy or a girl, so that's a plus, if your new dragon is too young to be definite about it's sex. At the moment, I have 32 here, and not all of the babies are staying, so those are named only by characteristics, patterns, or numbers. Out of the 24 that are permanent or ambassadors, 18 have permanent names, 6 (all babies) will grow into a different name, and tell me what it is when they are certain. I'm excited for your new beardie! new ones are always fun. When we first got Smokey her colors were all grayish (little did I know she was actually getting ready to shed) she was a smokey color so we named her smokey. Now for short we call her 'Mokey and she fits the name just fine. We got her brother a year or so later and named him in the car on the way home. we were trying to decide when all of a sudden my fiance said, "what about Bandit?" I loved it from the beginning (their names became, Smokey and the Bandit, get it? :lol: ) It just so happened that he grew into his name to, he acts like a little bandit, very, very sneaky...
