yeah not bad at all. I'm gonna make everything myself also and when I saw the price of glass and plexiglass that was a pretty big pill to swallow. The plexiglass alone was more then a 4'x8' sheet of melamine!

Where are you buying Plexi? I bought 2 seperate pieces both the same - I had to trim 2 inches off each side but the total cost from Home Depot was $24.

What thickness and size of sheet is that? I have been buying everything for the enclosure I am building from home depot and have been to 3 different ones in the last 2 weeks, Other than small little squares of it they were ranging from 50-100 bucks a sheet depending on thickness.

it really seems to differ now that I'm looking harder seems glass might be cheaper but it's thinner and with a 3 yr old not thinking i want glass.
