My viv is full again...Pic heavy!!

Hi all--After losing Puff so suddenly, it was so hard to look at the viv empty and lights out. So today I felt drawn to the reptile store where I bought Puff...and look what I found...

Her name is Kiera, and I feel like Puff picked her out and had her waiting there for me to find her...
Isn't she just too sweet!?
She is a blood red x orange pastel
Of course, I don't really know if she is a boy or a girl, but my gut says girl...I am probably wrong though...LOL!!!

She has been exploring the viv since I brought her home, and she ate some of her crickets for me...thank goodness...I do not want another fussy eater!! LOL!!!
Also, I had them feed her at the store, so I could see how well she was eating...and she eats like a champ!!
She was born November 12th, so she is just 5 weeks old. She has a little crook in her tail, and her long toe on the right back leg is also a little crooked. But I don't care...she has stolen my heart already!!
I still miss my Puff, and there is a spot in my heart that belongs only to him...But this little one has already found her own spot in my heart~

Hey congrats! I'm in the same situation. My Jacky boy of 3 years passed away suddenly (within a week and a half) on 12/11/09. He was my baby and I was crushed. I thought I would just keep my female Lola for awhile, but it didn't seem right for her to not have a friend! My newbie is Stewie. The pet store said he's about 4 mo old. He's so silly and yes, he has stolen my heart too! Best of luck with you beautiful new baby!

I understand completely, Puffsmama, The 4 we lost still have a place in our hearts, as do Rosie and Goldie, our current two. I, also, have room for another one, just not the $ or the time.

I think you did good in choosing (or should I say 'listening to puff in choosing') this little one.

Thank you all...she is just a joy!! She is doing well. She ate 20 crickets yesterday morning, and another 10 in the afternoon. she was also very active, exploring every nook and cranny of her viv. I think she likes it. She was really quite the explorer...climbing on everything.

Hi Cindy!

I have been absent for a while and I was so sad to hear about Puff It is so hard to let them go, but she is with so many other wonderful beardies (including Hades) over the Rainbow Bridge.

She did an excellent job of finding Kiera for you. You think at the moment that you won't be able to get another one and then "BAM!", there they are. I know it was hard to lose Hades, but then after a couple of months we got Hercules. And even though he can't be replaced, he kind of lives on in Hercules because they share the same dad...

She is a beauty and I look forward to watching her grow.
