My Vic. just dyed

This really hurts,I posted here before some problems recently but seemed fine again.What do I do,want to know if I did something wrong.I got him as resue almost dead and he was doing so well last 9 months(got sick at 9 months that when got him so 18 or 19 months old).I feel like I did something wrong(I don't think so cause followed site on everything)but I need to know if possible.I was out for day and when came back saw color was off and something was not right, asking me in corner shaking for (that how he always ask) but was also rubbing his face.I washed up as qiuck as I could and when I went to get him saw foam at his mouth and he was gone.When I pick him up so more foam came out with some brown stuff.I did notice bump on his lip last week but figured he just bump himself,don't know if had anything to do with it, I say this cause in pet store Sunday and mentioned this and was told it could be cancer,said it happens to green Iguana and heard of it with breaded.Do I see Vet can take look(none local) or is it possilbe to do myself,I looked closely on site one they did with walnut shells they cut open.I am hurting bad so if anybody would like to talk why this happened please call.I had lizard's for over 30 years and never had one dye before it's time.

My phone out so if try use cell 516-532-0854.Call pet store not near who good with brearded.Thru are talk thing cause it my have been off to begin with that and weaken state couple times my have lead to cancer on chin and possible something cricket carrying, buy at petco and check tank looks maintained.Something in my mind keep yelling at me it's the crickets, most likely combo of these.Trying find local vet can look at with no luck.I will be at show L.I. on 25th. so if someone think could help let me know.I have him in frig. till later and if find no local vet. freeze later and bury him at my son house over weekend.

There is no way to tell what happened to vic without getting a necropsy done, any vet should be able to perform one. You could do it yourself but unless you have some kind of training, there isn't much you could see.
Yes dragons can get cancer and if it was indeed cancer on his chin then it probably was in other areas too. I don't think it was anything you did and I doubt it was the crickets either, they can carry parasites but that would have made him sick for a very long time before causing death.
If I had to guess, I would say that he probably had a pre existing illness from being so sick before you got him. Kidney and liver disease is some what common in dragons and can take a long time to show symptoms.
Find a vet, get the necropsy done, it will make you feel better. I tried to call but got no answer.

Thanks for reply's they help alot.I try with my local Vet but would not do.They gave me phone to Liz. Vet hour and half away that I knew of.They wanted $78 for office visit plus exam..My family would kill me if I do this.From what I can figure cause it was sudden it was liver or kidney disease and my also had cancer or that was cause.Seems it past which I Research proablely had alot to do with it.I was able to talk two people one from site and good store(not close)that know alot so sort feel o.k. now what happen.I have in freezer(next to fish bait)and going to bury at my sons home on Sunday when see.I still like to try myself but need little more info. to do, so please call if you like to help 516-532-0854.I did gain alot info. researching what happen that would be more than happy to share.
