So he enjoyed his bathtime a little bit?
Good that he only had one seizure or twitch today that is much better. The basking temps are fine now, no problem.
The 55 gallon will be much better for him when he gets a little bigger. Good that you are already planning for that now also.
At least he went to the bathroom also. Hopefully he will continue to improve for you now.

Tracie--the herptavite I was able to find says on the label there is Vit A in it (if you look in the ingredients) I Will double ceheck maybe I got something else by mistatke.

Hello,

The Herptivite does not have vitamin A in it. It has vitamin E but it states on the label beta carotene though.
I hope you did not get the wrong thing. Did you get Reptivite? That one says Vitamin A.

I did get the reptivite by mistake but never opened it as he hadn't seen the vet yet. I did find the herptivite at the store and picked that up. When I give that to him 1x/week do I give that to him at the same time as I give calcium or should it be a separate time

Ok, I had thought you might have, it is easy to confuse them.
You can give the vitamins on a separate day, so he doesn't get so much powder on the days that he gets his calcium, also.
How is he doing today?

he is doing great temps reading between 100-104 (occasionally 99)depending on if our heat is running (when running the temps go up in that room). He is lounging on his log right now but not as musch as before. He didn't poop yet today and ate lots of crickets but he sometimes doesn't poop untilmuch late rin the day. Yesterday he went 3 times, other days he goes 1x.
The calcium --is that every day (7 days) or only 5 days and then on a different day give him the vitamin? You guys have been most helpful
Now I just need to locate an inexpensive 20 gallon (long style) tank for his next home. And yes, I know we will need even bigger later but we need to make the room for the 55 gallon one coming and he is only in a 10 gallon so his valentine's day present will be a new cage (and probably a better light too)

Hello,

Good that he is doing better & that you have the temps all corrected now.
The calcium needs to be given once a day, 5 days a week, & the vitamins 1-2 times per week.
I hope you get a new UVB light soon, because without that he wont absorb calcium very well. Good luck getting that larger tank.

Thanks Tracy. I think we might actually have an appropriate light fixture at our house and we hope to have the new light within the next 1.5 weeks. He is such a turd!! He was puffing at me most of yesterday (think he was still mad at me for the vet) but is on another growth spurt I think. He is back to eating 50-75 crickets a day!!
Tonight he fell asleep with his curl turned around and laying partly on his body. Silly boy!

That is great he is doing much better now. He is eating alot too, that is really good news.
Ok, once you get the new light he will be all set & good to go then. I hope you have the right light fixture at the house, that would save you some money then.
Hopefully he is going through another growth spurt for you.
