My Crew..... Has to go to two...

Hello, You all know Grim and Brooke, Brooke is growing like a weed. She's now 9inchs and 44g's. Grim is 22inchs and 644g's.

While at the Pomona Ca reptile show I fell in love with 2 babies, we named them Chanel 6inchs and 10g's, and Dominique 6 3/4inchs and 11g's.

And today we drove to San Diego and adopted 3 more in need. Reese (g) is 14 inches and 204gs and (not named yet) is 12 inches, probably would be 13 to 14 but has a small tail nip, and is only 150g's. Brady (m) is 19 1/2inchs and 452 g's. all are eating great right now. (No name) is extremely thin but is eating like a champ, I figure she will put the weight on pretty quickly. The other two are extremely healthy and eating all on their own.

I wanted to wait until we made the trip this weekend and introduce them all at once. We didn't get home until late and then had to do bath's and feeding.

If you guys can help me with a great name for the little girl that currently has no name. I will post pics of everybody tomorrow, No name is a very white little girl.....=)

So that brings me up to 7 and I'm done!!!

I agree with Katrina. Sugar would be a beautiful name for her!

You may also consider Lucy or Never for not giving up. Just my opinions.

Grim lost 24g's in one week. I stopped hand feeding him, (and he IS eating on his own), he ran around a lot more and He pooped shortly after last weeks weigh-in, but 24g's still seems like a lot. Any input on this would be great.

Sly went for 6 days (and who knows how long before this) with me not pooping, I did everything I researched on the board, olive oil, tummy massages, apple sauce and today in the bath tub he finally felt inspired!...=)

Reese has calmed down a lot, she was a pistol, but seems to be settling in nicely now., healthy little girl and grew a quarter of an inch.

Flocka gained no weight, But then she lost no weight either. I am making sure she gets all she needs, and am trying to fatten her up, she did go through about a day and a half of relocation stress and didn't want to eat.

Brooke my little tiger, her eyes were doing better, after 3 days of no mega ray, ( I got a bad bunch), but now that the bulb is back she is starting to close her eyes again. I am considering getting rid of the freakin bulbs all together and going back to the repti-suns.

Domonique gained 4g and grew 1/4in. She is growing in leaps and bounds.

Chanel was the same size as Dom when I got them, she gained half an inch, but no physical weight. =(

Sorry weigh day was yesterday, but was it hectic as ever. I am beginning to wonder if I'll ever find that camera...=( que sera, sera...

anyway without further ado, this weeks numbers...

Grim 22in 618g, (a 30g drop in one week??)
Sly 19 1/2in 464g, (a 14g drop, switched his enclosure)
Reese 14 1/2in 280g (a 42g gain in one week?)
Adrian 12 3/4in 202g (1/4in gain and a 20g gain)
Brooks 10in 56g (a 2g gain)
Dominique 7 3/4in 18g (a 1/4in and 4g gain)
Chanel 7in 14g (a 2g gain)

Okay so questions.....

1) how old roughly is a 6 in baby? All the babies were roughly 6 inches when I got them. I don't know any of their hatch dates. so I wanna try and do the math to figure out roughly how old they are. I got Brooks Nov 16th, and I got Dominique and Chanel at the Pomona reptile expo I believe January 10th.

2) How old roughly would Reese be at 14 1/2 inches. She still looks like she may have some growing to do. I hope hers and Adrian's previous conditions didn't stunt their growth.

3) Is it okay that Grim is doing such dramatic weight lose and gain in a mere week? 620, then 648, now 618 in three consecutive weeks?

4) All the babies are getting big...=), are they growing at the right rates? I know my husbandry is good and all have a repti-sun 10, and correct temps...

WoW you have a full house!!! you know what i found odd?? 2 of your beardies share names with both my sons!! My 3yr old son's name is Rhys(Reese) and my 5month old son is Broox(Brooks)! can't wait to see those pictures

You do have a full house! It's hard to guess ages by size alone but I would start by saying anywhere from 2 wekks to 2 months (depending on what type of care/food/lighting they were receiving) As far as weight changes. do you always weigh at the same time? I only weigh after poops, before feeding. That way I feel it's less likely to change from having a full belly that may bump the numbers up...Good luck in finding your camera, we'd love to see pics!

everyone is growing in leaps and bounds. The babies are 2 months old. Brooks is 4 months. I'm guessing Reese and Adrian to be around 6 months. Sly about a year or so and Grim is 2 years old. I'm trying to wean Grim from hand feeding but I'm not so sure it's working. He Is healthy, happy, alert and active but keeps dropping weight. He is finally eating some veggies on his own but no live feeders any suggestions would be appreciated. Everyone else is eating on thier own and doing great!

I finally found the freakin camera today and as luck would have it our main computer blew it's mother board. So we had to get a new one. We are in the process of setting it up so look for LOTS of pics in the next few days

Due to stupid pancreas issues I won't be able to update the weights and measurements. I am on my iPod laying in the stupid hospital. So look for pics and stuff a tad later..... My roomate is taking care of all the babies.
