my beardies nostril keeps plugging

So charlie had his shed boogie pulled a few days ago and since then that nostril seems a bit inflamed and today even had a couple little specks of blood and if I try to examine it too long he blackbeards me.
is this something I should get him in to the vet for immediately or just monitor it and see if it improves or what? I've never seen this before and can't imagine it's too common but he seems to be breathing fine.

Was the skin ready to come off in its own or did it get pulled off a bit too soon maybe? If the new skin isn't quite ready it can be damaged so maybe that's all that's going on. It sounds like it's sore, since he gets so annoyed. If you can see into his mouth (when he is basking and gaping) the nostrils open into the mouth at the front, (you can see two little slits) - if those (or the rest of his mouth) also look red and irritated (or bleeding) a vet sooner than later might be a good idea.

the skin was falling off at his nose I tweezered it then he shook his head and it all came out. it did feel a little moist still though the skin boogie that is. everything in his mouth appears to be very normal looking and his other nostril hasn't begun to shed yet and looKs very nice. I put a little neosporin on the outer edge of the sensitive nostril just as precaution. he's acting like his normal self crawling all over and trying to snuggle.
