My bearded dragon hasn't been as active and hasn't been eating much for the past few weeks, I thought she was just brumating but I'm beginning to think otherwise. I don't know what could've changed her change in behavior, her cage is exactly what it should be if I'm correct. I just don't know anymore, can anyone think of why she is acting this way? :(

Hi there!

I think we'll need a little more info to be able give some suggestions. :)

How old is she?
Has she been losing weight?
What lights (type and brand) are you using, and how old are they, and are they on top of a screen?
What are her temps at the basking spot, and on the 'cool' side, and how are you measuring them?
What had she been eating before this started?

I'm sure we can figure something out, there's lots of helpful people around here! :D

She is a little bit older than a year. I'm using 2 heat lights, one is 100 watts and the other is 150 (they are both ZooMed and around 3 months old). I am also using a 18" 50 watt uvb light (fairly sure it's Zilla) and I just replaced it. All the lights are on top of a screen. The basking temp is around 100 and the cool is around 80, I measure them using a digital thermometer. Before she started this she was eating crickets, super worms, and a various veggies. Hope that helps.

What season are you in where you are ? winter or summer ?

....if it's winter, she may be trying to brumate, but she's still got a lot of growing to do , so it's not adviseable to allow her to brumate over this winter ,she wont sufficient reserves.

What's the weather been like for the last few weeks ?

Are any of these MVBs (mercury vapour bulbs) ?
.....if not , do you have a 10%uvb or higher rated compact or T8 or T5 tube in a reflector hood ?
.......... if you have no UV source , this will make your young beardie very sick ad she will fail to grow and thrive , and she'll develop issues due in inadequate exposure to UVA and UVB such as fragile bones , MBD , and neurological issues, as well as having very low activity and a very poor apetite.
A good source of UVA and UVB is MANDATORY for a beardied dragon , this is NOT OPTIONAL.

Nasty weather wlll put them off , they tend to hunker down in their hides a lot when the weather is nasty outside or storms or bad weather is on it's way , even my gang who are in a climate controlled home whos windows are never opened and doors stay shut , they still pick up on barometric pressure changes and changes in humidity even with the a/con running 24/7.

Keep on offering the live insects and greens and veg.

%uvb rating of the T8n tube ?
ontop of a mesh top ?
how far from basking spot ?
how old is the tube ?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
