My beardie is burned! Please help:(

yesterday I moved my beardie to a new cage and the light was to hot and he got burnt! It's not a bad burn but there is some discoloration to the skin I went to Walgreens and got cured silver solution. U haven't applied it yet because I was wondering if anybody here has used it before?

Hi there...sorry to hear about your poor beardie ! Can you post pics of him, especially the area that is burned,as well as his set up ? To post pics you can upload to a site like Photobucket, then copy/paste the img here. If the silver cream is recommended for burns, then you can apply that. You could also use pure aloe gel [ with NO added ingredients, very important ] and even raw honey, which is a natural antibiotic/antibacterial and promotes new tissue growth.

Oh so sorry that happened! Poor guy. At least you realized it quickly. The silver cream will be fine & as suggested the unpasteurized honey is very good also.
Do you have any pictures of him we could see also, to assess the situation with you?

I hope he is doing better.

The cage pic is the new one I'm making him. It should be ready in a week or so. His burn is on the lefts side of the back. its hard to see now but its looking better today.
