My Beardie has been brumating for nearly 3 months

Hi,

My bearded dragon went into brumation for the first time so I did a lot of research on it. The thing is he's been brumating for 3 months, only leaving his cave for veggie pellets or greens we put out for him.

When I see him out I give him a warm bath and then he becomes really social and when I got to out him home he tries to stay on my hand but once he gets in, he goes straight into his cave and sleeps.
I'm worried and I miss him, any ideas?

It's not unheard of for them to brumate for several months in some cases. Have you been monitoring his weight when you take him out for a bath/drink? If his weight is relatively stable then he's probably OK. You can expect to see a bit of a dip and possibly depletion of fat reserves on his head and base of his tail to an extent but nothing too drastic. If he starts losing a lot of weight it may indicate an underlying issue.
