My bearded dragons will not grow

My dragons will not grow and they eat everything i put in the tank. They just lay on platform dieing with eyes closed. There stools smell bad and not watery just a bit of orange in the white part of the stool. I dont no what to do i have there temp to 110 and am sure it is correct with my probe. They look skinny.

I'm not trying to be rude, but you have made a lot of posts about this issue lately, and you have gotten a lot of responses but I'm not sure if you are taking any of the advice. The best thing you can do is seperate them, and there is a good chance that they will start to improve. Since they have really smelly poop, are losing weight, and refuse to eat they more than likely have parasites too, so you should really get them tested for that.

It doesn't matter what age or sex they are! The point is that housing them together is stressing them out to where they don't want to eat. If you can't seperate your dragons, I really think you should look into rehoming one.

Yeah, you need to go to a vet for this. A fecal is usually $25, and meds are around $10-$15. It's not expensive. Meds like Panacur can REALLY mess up a beardie's digestive system, and it tends to make them feel worse before they feel better. Trust me, this is not something you want to do to your beardies if they end up having something other than parasites, because at this point it might just put them over the edge and kill them.

Well i can't find a exotix vet so i will try anti parasites. it is just a odor when they go poop and everything looks normal. good day

You don't need an exotic vet to get them tested for parasites. Any vet can do a fecal testing. If you just go ahead an treat them unnecessarily, it might kill them because they are so weak already. It totally wipes out their digestive tract, and they would probably need to be force fed for a while and have probiotics. My beardie didn't eat on his own for weeks after he had Panacur.

And again, you NEED to separate them. They NEED to be quarantined if they have parasites, because otherwise it is going to be impossible to get rid of them.

I really wish you would listen to the advice people have given you. Your poor beardies don't sound like they will get any better if you keep them like this. If you would actually separate them and get them vet care, they could make it.

Hello,

A number of members on this site are trying to help. Both of your dragons are greatly stressed and need to see a vet. At this point, it doesn't matter if he is a reptile vet or not to do a fecal. Any vet can do a basic fecal & deworming. If they continue down this road, neither one of them is going to make it.
Please heed the advice of all of the good natured & warm hearted members on here that have probably been through the same or similar circumstances as yourself.

Besides being seperated, do you have a good UVB light for them? Have you tried the reptisun 10.0? I use the TREX active MVB for my babies. I got a baby from Petco that was super skinny, and wouldn't eat. So I bought some critical care, and syringe fed him for about a week. Then he started eating on his own... Here is the difference in less than 1 month:

Day 1 look how skinny he was (May 9th):

Now this is June 4th (less than a month later):

In less than a month, he grew 1 1/2" and went from weight 8 grams to 26 grams.

He gets 40 reptiworms in the morning, and they stay in his cage all day.. When I get home, if they are gone, I will put about 10 more in, sometimes he will eat 5, but then he's done. I also hand feed him some Collard and dandelion greens in the morning.

Your #1 thing, is get a good UVB light. Either the reptisun 10.0 or the Trex Active MVB..

Dust their feeders 5x a week. If you decide to use reptiworms, the do not need to be dusted. If using the Reptisun 10.0 you should use calcium with vitamin D added. If a MVB, calcium with not vitamin D.

This is the best advice I have to offer. I have 3 very healthy beardies. If you can't afford reptiworms, definately look into dubias, as they are very meaty and will put the weight on them. But I agree, they need to be seperated. I know this could cost some money, but they are not going to make it if you don't. But once you have the 2nd set up all done, then it won't be so expensive.

I wish you lived around me, because I have extra tanks and lights you could use.

You wouldn't be able to rule out anything by looking at the stool without magnification and a trained eye for looking for parasites,

I am not going to get mad and i feel like i am doing everything wrong and its a heartache to me i cant afford to setup a second tank but i will. I only had them now for a few weeks so they would of got parasites from superworms waxworms mealworms or crickets. I keep everything clean once a week with fresh paper towel and rinse everything with the hottest water from my sink where it smokes. I have a powersun 100watt but a 20 gal idk if it will work. I dust with calcium d3 and vitamins but i just cant get reptiworms or roaches. I barely give them crickets a little over a dozen a day. I give them tons of mealworms and waxworms all i can get at the petstore thats closes to me others are 50 miles away and most dont sell silkworms or phoenix. I cant buy online cause i dont have a credit card. But i do have a reptisun 10.0 coming from amazon but no fixture my hardware store didnt have one just a 30 inch when i need 18" but these fixtures have no reflection like the esu ones. I am runnin out of options but today i got a tank a 18 by 18 by 18 desert by exo terra. I only bought one dragon but honestly i dont no why this site shipped me two dragons they look different and it was a mail order. So right now in three weeks i will have two great setups but then my issue is the bugs. I really want to get roaches cause someone on here say a colony last forever. That would be great but cant find them anywhere but online?

Sounds like your really trying to the best of your ability which I commend. Shouldn't be feeding meal worms though. I would talk to your pet shop about bulk pricing on crickets or supers small size. Good luck and I wish you and your dragons the best.
