hi
I have had my bearded dragon for almost a year now. i got her when she was 1 month old and have spent a great deal of time with her daily. she absolutely knows me and finds comfort with me especially when new people are around, she falls asleep on me almost every night, and responds to my voice...but today she bit me! i know if she wanted to really bite me she would have (she only left a little red mark) but she held the bite for a few moments...(she bit me once before by accident when she was much smaller but waved at me after... today she didnt wave.) and today it was my face... i dont think she miss took my cheek for food.
to note; she didnt get black or puff up her coloring was normal and she seemed very calm, she also didnt try to run away from me when i picked her up (if she does this, i will let her run around for a bit longer)
I had just fed her, outside of her cage with my hands, and afterwards i let her sit in the same spot to decompress after her feeding. after a few minutes i went over and picked her up (like i always do) walked across the room with her and when i stopped walking (i was talking to her the whole time) she turned around and bit my cheek.. did i do something wrong?
