Mulberry Farms?

The only way we get our bug order from them in 2 days is if we request it shipped via fed ex. Two times now when they were shipped priority mail through USPS, it takes 3 days to get here from California.

I just placed my first order with them on Thursday. Does that mean I won't get my supers until Wednesday at the earliest?? (I'm in CT.) :x

They say on their site that they don't ship past Wednesday, unless it's to a one day shipping area in Southern California. This is because if they shipped on Thursday, the bugs would be in the mail system over the weekend and it may negatively affect the health of the bugs. I've learned to plan ahead of time for my bug order, that isn't always easy, however.

Update- Went to mulberry farms, was gonna order a 500 ct of micro super worms, but when i got there and she brought me out the lil container of worms I definitely had to increase their size. But the owner is a very nice lady that has an amazing setup for everything you could possibly need. I will for sure 100% be working with her again especially when we get our breeding project up and going.

I ordered some butter worms and silkworms last week from them and got them 3 days later. All the worms where alive and in good looking condition and my little guy loves them, I will be ordering some more soon

my experience was so-so, slow shipping, but the worms came alive, and the supers had what appeared to be a nice over count.

I never ever had a problem with them in ordering from them the 8 years that I did, all the worms were alive and always more than the number ordered.

When the hubby breaks down and I can get another beardie I definetly will be ordering from them again, their service is awesome!!!

I just ordered from them as well, although, their shipping costs are quite high. I order my repti worms from reptiworms.com, they have a standard shipping of $4.99. All other worms I get from Mulberry Farms.

we finally got our dragon to start eating the worms, she has to be spoon fed :roll: BUT, she's started eating the hornworms and butterworms. wax worms were "iffy" for her even on her spoon...guess they weren't like an ice-cream sandwhich to her.

I thought their shipping prices were really high - almost half the cost or more of my orders it has seemed. But, because I can't get those particular feeders around here, I will continue ordering from them. I don't know any other companies but all the worms arrive *very* substantial and definitely do the trick.

I saw this site in an ad in the forums, I checked it out and they have prices I can afford!
I was just wondering, has anyone else bought from them? I'd like to know about their reputation for delivery before I spend any money. I'd love to have my insects delivered to me instead of me driving an hour and a half round trip to go and get stuff that costs a lot more than this from the store.

Everything I have gotten from then has been on time and alive. Some times there was extra too : )

My bearded dragons love the food I get them. They have some great stuff, for relatively cheap too

Ditto on my end, I just do not like their shipping costs AT ALL !, costs me $12.00 in just shipping costs - oh well, not many places online these days that have reasonable shipping rates.

I used to order crickets and supers from a place called reptile food. They only do crickets, supers and a couple of other things that I don't use. They don't sell hornworms, silkworms or butterworms. Their shipping was much higher for me than from Mulberry Farms. I started ordering from their because I wanted to try Hornworms on Redrock. She loved them but our current two girls don't seem to like them much so I haven't ordered them for awhile. I still order from Mulberry Farms because shipping from them is cheaper then Reptile Food is. This is only because Mulberry Farms is in California and I'm in Arizona. Reptile food is farther away from me than Mulberry Farms. That's why some of you have higher shipping then others. I do like Mulberry Farms I just don't really trust the USPS priority shipping. When I have them ship it fed ex 2 day, I get the supers in 2 days. When they come USPS priority shipping, it's 3 days, between California and Arizona.

I bought the postage paid box of supers for $25. I thought that was a fairly reasonable price. I compared it to a bunch of other sites and it was the cheapest option (including shipping).

Their postage paid packages are great. Lori, I actually get my orders in 2 days when I use USPS, that's quite a distance from CA to NY. It amazes me every time.
