Moving With a Dragon

I will be moving within the next six months or so. It is a three hour drive from here to my new location. My beardie will be only about 8-10 months at that point.

Do you have some tips on moving with your dragon? Should I get him a warming blanket to snuggle in and/or keep him inside a small crate or something during the drive? I live in Texas and I'll be moving to another part of Texas, though by the time I make this move it could be winter or going into spring so temperatures could vary. However I could turn the heat on in my vehicle as I drive regardless.

Just figured I'd ask if anyone has done this before and what the best way to do things is.

Hi there....you'll have no problem, just get a small animal carrier, gym bag or similar container. A large boot box can work, too. Put newspaper down and shredded paper towels in case he has to poo. I've driven dragons in freezing weather before, just heat the car to a comfy 76 degrees or so and you'll all be fine.

Yes, they travel well some even like to be out during car rides so they can see all the sites. Be sure to get him set up pretty quick when you get to your destination.

I know, sometimes typos are pretty hilarious....a nice warm 76 degree cat is always recommended on a long drive with your beardie.

Sorry about the silliness O.P, you should have no problem traveling with your dragon.
