I posted this in feeders first but realized it more belongs in feeding really. :p

Hi all!
So of course I know that wild insects should never be fed to beardies. But here in California during this time we have a tonnnnn of skeeter eaters/mosquito eaters out right now. One got in his tank and he almost ate it! But my boyfriend grabbed him out in time. Now I'm all paranoid that that might happen again.

So my question is are mosquito eaters poisonous to them or anything??

If what you are talking about are crane fly's then no, i wouldnt think they would have any harmful effects on your little friend. In fact crane flys do not actually feed on mosquitos, either larval or adult. so there is almost no chance for any possible disease or parasite from mosquito to crane fly.
