The beardie rescuer who let me adopt Jayden took in a batch of beardie eggs from someone who was offering them to anyone who'd take them on Craigslist. The "breeder" ended up giving them to him because he didn't want to deal with all those babies and was just letting some of the babies die because he had too many. The rescuer has been working hard to save as many as possible. I think they are normals het leatherback.
I keep going back to look at one of the babies, a normal, white with light to medium brown markings. I'm told the markings will fade as they get older. I've seen pictures of white colored beardies and think they are beautiful. If this baby would look like that as an adult, I'd be thrilled. What do you think? Is this possible? The beardie is about 3 weeks old.
I've been setting up a small viv just in case.
