Ok, so I was feeding the Dragon crickets in a plastic bin which worked great. She would gobble them up like no one's business. Then, she started to get really sporadic with her eating. She'll eat worms no problem, but crickets not so much. My worm supply has been low so crickets were her staple. Sometimes she'll eat a couple in the bin but most of the time none. If I put them in her tank, she'll pay more attention to them and eat a few more. She did start eating salad, finally, but she doesn't eat that in great amounts either.
Do Dragon's go through picky eating phases? If I give her worms she'll down them with no problems. I am hoping my last order will come in today so I can stuff her with them. This past week she has ate maybe 10 crickets (med size) about a table spoon of salad on a daily basis, and a handfull of worms..but they are tiny little silk worms that I need to grow. I started adding in BD bites just so she'd have more to eat.. though not in large amounts. She has eaten maybe a tablespoon total.
She is still a Juvie (or so I am assuming.. less than 15" long) so its not a lot of food. A couple of nights I offered her crickets every couple of hours hoping she'd eat them, but nope. She acts fine, her tank temps are good, and there have been no changes.
