Ok, so I promised more pics! Here they are.....

So we removed the alfalfa substrate and put in reptile carpet. Also took out the mealworms.

Also removed the under tank heater. Gotta go list it on Craigslist! lol

Sounds great! He's a cutie! You were also going to get a digital thermometer with a probe, right (unless I'm confusing posts)? Walmart has a great one made by acurite for $12.

spurlee - yes I am going to get the digital. "beardie parents" suggested Walmart for that - so I will be getting it tomorrow!
Today was a much better day for Rex. He was much more active and very hungry during both feeding times. We were concerned that he hadn't pooped any in his viv - but every time we bathe him (daily), he poops alot. Stress marks are mostly faded - especially after eating and during bathe time.

got the Accurite digi with probe...... Need to up the heat. This infrared isn't doing the trick. Cool side is fine at 80. Basking only at 92...that sucks.... Bought a new tank last night off craigslist. 55gal with light hood and stand for $60....Awesome deal!! Going to order a 36" Reptisun 10.0 tube - and CB for nighttime. Any suggestions for heat lamp bulbs? The Reptisun is for UV (ie. daytime rays) right?

Anyways - Rex still active today - loves his crix!

For heat bulbs, you want something that is white. You can buy one of the petstore ones, or if, you can get the temps right, just us a household bulb.
